Juliet Hart – UK Finance
Finance Manager for Innovation
I work closely with Sales & Marketing Teams on product development, ensuring their innovative ideas are commercially viable. I’m involved in these projects from conception to completion and get a real sense of achievement when I see the finished product on the supermarket shelves.
This role sees me involved with Cereals & Snacks, Business Development and I even get involved with Acquisitions too.
Graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Business Economics, I initially worked at British Steel after being recruited on to their Finance Graduate Scheme. I then moved to the Kellogg’s factory in Wrexham. The appeal of joining Kellogg’s was mainly that it was so different - an FMCG environment that has such well-known brands.
I was initially involved in Management Accounting at the Manufacturing Plant and then moved over to the commercial side of the business as Marketing Business Partner. This all happened within 2 years. I’ve worked at Kellogg’s for 6 years now and enjoy the variety of being on the commercial side of the business.
The culture at Kellogg’s is very different from other companies. Kellogg’s are very supportive, people orientated and listen to what your aspirations are and do what they can to help you achieve them.
