Kellogg’s in the community
Many of Kellogg’s promotional activities are focused around physical activity and/or the importance of a balanced diet. For example over recent years the Special K brand has offered consumers pedometers, personal trainer watches and body fat analysers.
In addition to these brand-linked promotions, Kellogg’s enjoys a long and proud heritage of supporting community projects in the UK, with a strong theme of promoting healthy, active lifestyles. Below you will find examples of just some of the initiatives that complement this objective:
the asa sponsorship
Kellogg’s has sponsored the Kellogg’s asa awards scheme for over ten years. This is the most successful award scheme in British sport with more than 10 million awards having been achieved over the last ten years. Our sponsorship of the awards is now complemented by sponsorship of ten young British swimmers – Team Kellogg’s - in the run up to the Olympic Games in Beijing and London.

Breakfast clubs
Around one in six children do not eat breakfast in the morning and many children eat crisps or chocolate on the way to school. For this reason, Kellogg’s has been working with national learning charity ContinYou since 1998 to help finance and promote breakfast clubs.
